Mini Haul – Product Review

Hey lovelies,

Sorry I have been M.I.A lately but I’ve been a very busy hobbit with work going on, studies and new business idea’s that I’m trying to juggle at the moment however I thought I’d quickly write a blog post on some things I’ve received over the past two weeks and give you a little review on the new Maybelline Products I got my hands on as I think they would be great for someone starting out makeup and not wanting to fork too much money on these bad boys!!

Okay so this is basically my new haul, I have a few other things I’ve gotten over the past month as well but I’ll use those for a review later on. I bought all of these products from all different sites. All the Anastasia came straight from their US Website along with the Too faced straight from their website as well. All the other items I bought here and there over the past two weeks or so.

Alrightey!! So firstly I want to give a review on the new Maybelline Fit Me Dewy and Smooth foundation. 

If only I could personally thank Maybelline for creating such a beautiful product I would!! This foundation is amazing for dry skin. I have dry skin and it slides on beautifully , the coverage is medium – full and easy to build up. The staying power if set right with powders work amazingly! It will last at least 6 hours with still a nice finish left and it’s not too cakey which I find very important in a foundation. I have 3 MAC foundations and this would give them very good run for their money. Heres a photo of me wearing the new foundation 🙂

Like I mean come on!! Enough said!! For the price and the foundation itself it definitely deserves a 9/10 !!

Moving on to another recent product of Maybelline which is the Nudes palette! Here are some swatches below: (Sorry about the lighting and the au’natural arms lol)

This product to me is good value for money and great for a beginner. Although the pigmentation is not that great it works well in giving you a subtle eye look, very good if your just wanting to give your eyes that little bit of depth but not too much! I have been using this palette a lot for work because it’s so affordable and not too over the top. Overall this palette deserves a solid 6/10 for the value of its money and how versatile I think the colors are and can be used.
